Raza Becomes Official Apparel Sponsor for Houston Heat

The Master Blaster Paintball Team, one of the sports longest continuously operating competition teams, a team comprised of more World Championship winning players than you can fit in a Winnebago, has signed a sponsorship deal with one of the newest product manufacturers in the business, Valken Sports.
The Master Blasters team offers Valken Sports an unprecedented opportunity to showcase its premium quality products; the ‘Blasters currently field at least one full team for every format and team size found anywhere on the planet, including competition speedball teams for 5 and 7 player formats, competition woods ball and scenario game teams.

Team VICIOUS to shoot Empire AXE Marker in 2013

Sewell, NJ, January 14st, 2013, Empire Paintball. Empire Paintball announces that pro paintball team, VICIOUS, will play the 2013 season with the Empire AXE Marker. Team VICIOUS will be shooting a private label VICIOUS Empire Axe and wearing custom VICIOUS Empire Contact Zero jerseys and pants.

Maltese Militia Has Given It ALL Away

The Maltese Militia Paintball Team has given away the last prize package of the 2012 season.
For the second time this season the Maltese Militia supported the Guns for Hoses Charity that raises money for
the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation. This weekend is Memorial Weekend at the National Fallen
Firefighters Memorial where the names of the fallen are added to the Memorial. Sadly 83 names were added
this year. Due to the generosity of Boston Paintball, the sponsors, and all those who played, over $1500 dollars
was raised for the cause.
We gave away our Custom Prize Package that includes: A Goblin Solo complete with players pack from Goblin
Paintball, a Gift Certificate from Stinger Paintball Designs for a set of fully custom grips as well as a Stinger TShirt, a Gift Certificate for a Dominator Barrel and Fin set from Hammerhead Paintball, a Blue’s Crew “Party

Shoreline PB Cuts TV Deal with BSkyB (UK)

We are delighted to announce that six 1 hour episodes of a new television program called ‘The Paintball Show’ have been commissioned.

The show will be broadcast on BskyB (Sky Digital and Freesat) and available in 11m homes in the UK and Ireland alone and broadcast to another 34 countries across Europe, the Middle East and North Africa. Simultaneous to the TV broadcast, the show will be available globally via a streamed broadcast on the internet and thereafter via ‘Video On Demand’.

The show will be a ‘magazine’ style format with a main presenter and 3 guest pundits each week filmed from a specially constructed brand new studio in High Definition and filmed before a live audience.

Regular features will include weekly paintball news bulletins from The Ford Report News Studio, The Catshack 90 second round up of events in North America, product reviews and tests, paintball company profiles, team and player features, live studio guests from the paintball industry, playing tips and advice from top international players, event reports, lively studio discussion and much more crammed into each 1 hour episode.

The episodes will run weekly for six weeks. If the show is a success, a second series will immediately be commissioned and the additional broadcast platform of FreeView will be added taking the show from being available in 11 million households to 25 million households in the UK alone (98% of the population).

Filming will take place in August with the show broadcast during September and October 2012.

The opportunity to have a regular weekly television show beamed into every household, every hotel and every bar in the UK and Ireland and shown in a further 34 countries as well as the internet is an enormously exciting prospect for everyone involved in the game. A bit about the show…..

For British TV audiences, they will recognise The Paintball Show as being a cross between Match of the Day, The One Show and The Big Breakfast. A mixture of high energy informal fun with audience participation and also informed and in depth debate between key personalities from the international paintball community.

There will be lots of regular features covering the key paintball topics as well as some irreverent observations on topics that effect the paintball community. Contributing guests will come from all areas of paintball including top players, manufacturers, distributors, tournament and scenario organisers and grass roots teams and players from across the world.

The live audience will be made up of paintball players and teams who will be invited to come along to the filming of the show and stay overnight near the studio and enjoy hospitality from The Paintball Show. It promises to be a lot of fun!

Whilst The Paintball Show will in the first series be a predominantly British TV Show, there will be plenty to keep international viewers from any of the 34 countries that can receive the show interested. Many of the guests will be global paintball figures and news features will specifically look at all regions of the world.
