“But it wasn’t meant to go this far, you know?” said an unidentified Dallas teen after being shot in the hand with a 40 caliber BULLET.

He and his friend were self-admittedly driving around shooting cars and houses with a paintball gun when someone decided to return fire with a real gun.

“I thought my life was about to end right there,” the teen said.  He also admits to being scared that the shooter may come after him again.

Well duh, numnutz!  When you do stupid s**t, stupid s**t sometimes happens back at ya.

These kids could be the poster children for that old redneck joke.  The one that goes like this:

“What’s the last thing a redneck says before he dies?”

“What?”

“Hey fellas, watch this!”

The Dallas police say that the kids may be charged (may be charged?) and that the real gun shooter may also be charged (may also?).  I’m not going to pretend for one second that the paintball vandals are the only idiots in this story.  The guy with the real gun who shoots at paintballers for messing with his pickup is a few antlers short of a full rack too.
