Even pre-review and field testing, I have no problem saying that this is an excellent paintball gun. It’s got a great feel and heft, adding accessories is pretty darned easy (push-pins) and it just looks darned cool.

Perhaps the best feature of this marker is the built-in upgradeability, something that has been a hallmark of Tippmann engineering for years. Add an electronic trigger, a flatline, hang whatever you want off of the standard rails, add one of many buttstocks – the combinations are almost endless.

The trigger pull is unique to Tippmann markers, something others have remarked upon previously, and it’s quite a nice pull – pretty tight without any adjustment and a nice crisp “pull” on each shot.

The ability to switch between CO2 and HPA is a nice and welcome feature as well.
